Dr. Gene Green recommends this site that offers an extensive bibliography of NTX tools and resources from Craig L. Blomberg and others at Denver Seminary. Each issue of the Denver Journal has a "New Testament Exegesis Bibliography" section.
About the bibliography, the authors write: "Items marked with an asterisk [*] are top priority for acquisition and/or use. Others would be good to have if and when finances allow and well worth consulting even now. (All are selected as excellent out of a much larger list that could have been compiled.) Selections are consciously weighted in favor of evangelical scholarship but excellent works from other perspectives are included."
"Hermeneia must be regarded as the premier biblical commentary series in the English-speaking world today [....] The quality of scholarship throughout is first-rate. The Hermeneia commentaries have set a standard of excellence in biblical interpretation that future series will be hard-pressed to meet." Michael L. Barr
It is a full-scale series that aims to cover every book in the Bible. The series offers fresh translation, an original format, thoughtful interaction with literature, and a commitment to handle both exegetical and literary/critical concerns.
