Use Word and a macro to code your data using the Word  comments feature and then extract the comments into a table for theme analysis. The Word table can also be transferred to Excel for data manipulation.

• If you have multiple coders, you can combine the comments from all documents into one before extracting the comments for analysis.  Each comment will have an identifier.
