Resource Lists is an online reading list system available within Canvas. Within this system, instructors have the flexibility to incorporate a wide range of resources for their students to learn from, including traditional course readings (books, book chapters, articles) as well as videos, podcasts, websites, and more.

Resource Lists provides advantages to instructors and students:

  • Using Resource Lists in Canvas provides a consistent way for students to find their readings within different courses.

  • Resource Lists is an efficient way to request print reserves when planning your course in Canvas (if you do not wish to use Resource Lists, you can use paper form at the Circulation Desk for print reserves).
