Note for Fall 2024: Resource Lists has an updated interface; this guide has been revised to reflect these changes.
Resource Lists is an online reading list system available within Canvas. Within this system, instructors have the flexibility to incorporate a wide range of resources for their students to learn from, including traditional print and online course readings (books, book chapters, articles) as well as videos, podcasts, websites, and more.

- Resource Lists provides direct access to online resources and holding information for print resources.
- Resource Lists is an efficient way to request print reserves when planning your course in Canvas.
- To place items from your personal collection on reserve, please use the paper form at the Circulation Desk in the Library (Main)
- Resources Lists data can help the library make informed collection-development decisions.
- Resource Lists provides instructors with features that can provide further information, context, and engagement with course readings.
- Resource Lists provides analytical information to faculty so they can monitor student engagement with the texts.
- Resource Lists can easily move within courses in Canvas.
