Wheaton's Guide to Research & the Library: Faculty Guide: Home

Welcome to the Wheaton's Guide to Research & the Library: Faculty Guide.

These resources were developed to meet information literacy outcomes associated with Wheaton College's general education program. They support Wheaton students as they use the library and conduct research. These tutorials will be integrated into the First Year Seminar (FYS), Advanced Integrative Seminar (AIS), and Capstone Experience (CE), as well as one or more courses in almost every department across campus.

This guide provides:

  • Supporting material that summarizes what students are expected to know
  • Troubleshooting guides for using the tutorials in Schoology
  • Discussion ideas for how to talk to your students about these topics
