Starting places

For topics in Latin American Literature...

If you're looking for background on a person or subject with suggestions for further reading then  try the "Person Search" in the Literature Resource Center database. Also consult  Latin American Writers or Literary Cultures of Latin America: A Comparative History.
If you're looking for biographies and books on your author then search the Library Catalog. Search your writer's name as a subject to separate books by from books about the author.
If you're looking for journal articles and book chapters then start with MLA Int'l Bibliography database. If your topic involves Christianity or theology try ATLA Religion as well. Other recommended databases.
If you have questions, or would like additional research assistance  then email Professor Morrison
