Zotero

Reference managers are easy-to-use tools that can help you collect, organize, cite, and share research sources. This guide will explain how to install Zotero and Mendeley.

What is "Library Lookup?"

"Library Lookup" is a way for you to search for full text from within Zotero.  It uses the same "Find it!" feature of library databases where the availability of full text is identified.  The option is available to place an ILLiad request if you find that the full text is not available.

Instructions for Setting Up Library Lookup

You will need to set your preferences before you can use this feature.

  1. Open the Zotero.
  2. Click "Preferences" under Zotero or Edit on your menu bar.
  3. Select the "Advanced" tab.
  4. The center box called OpenURL should be "Custom."
  5. In the box labeled "Resolver," enter the URL of Buswell Library's link resolver https://i-share-whe.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/openurl/01CARLI_WHE/01CARLI_WHE:CARLI_WHE?
  6. Click OK to save your changes.
